YOUR IMPACT Goldman Sachs Asset Management is seeking a professional individual who wants to develop their understanding of a growing sector of financial markets and be at the heart of regulatory reform. As a Business Analystwithin the Regulatory Middle Office, you will be exposed to the continued high rate of regulatory change and will be responsible for managing new business requests, implementing strategic initiatives, managing risk and proactively supporting our clients. Thisrole requires a motivated individual that can partner with various groups supporting the Asset Management Business to ensure accurate and timely regulatory reporting on behalf of the firm and our clients. The ability to manage multiple deliverables & stakeholderexpectations, prioritize, meet deadlines and communicate to all levels of the organization and firm is critical to this role OUR IMPACT The Regulatory Middle Office (RMO) is a global team that oversees regulatory reporting for Goldman Sachs Asset Management.RMO leads regulatory change initiatives and provides SME input into changes with a regulatory impact. To achieve this, the team partners with internal and external stakeholders including Regulators, Custodians, Fund Administrators, Trading Desks, Client RelationshipManagers, Engineering, Legal and Compliance. The Regulatory Change team is responsible for implementing regulatory change driven by the evolving regulatory landscape or changes to the Asset Management infrastructure, booking models or data flows. HOW YOU WILLFULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL You will effectively contribute towards the Asset Management Division meeting its post trade and transaction reporting obligations You will actively work with trading desks to understand changes in business practice and make recommendationson how the team and supporting infrastructure should evolve to consistently meet reporting obligations You will play an instrumental role in implementation of large-scale regulatory initiatives across the Asset Management Division, including business analysis,requirements definition and user acceptance testing. You will analyse front to back system infrastructure to understand, booking models, data flows, and the logic required to capture data SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WE ARE LOOKING FOR BASIC QUALIFICATIONS Bachelorsdegree 3+ years of professional experience - required Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel) as well as proficiency with web-based applications Strong communication skills to clearly articulate complex regulatory change requirements and solutions Strong analyticalskills with an ability to understand complex workflows paired with meticulous attention to detail Self-motivated and proactive team player who has strong organizational skills and the ability to effectively manage competing priorities within deadlines Flexibleand able to work well under pressure in a team environment. Good understanding of the financial industry including active interest in UK & EU regulatory initiatives. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience in Financial Services (Asset Management preferred butnot essential) Experience in a Regulatory or Change Management environment Regulatory experience of MiFID II, EMIR, SFTR, ASIC or SWISS Reporting Good understanding of financial products and funds Trade life cycle knowledge Working experience with operatingon large data sets (incl.
