Central employment are pleased to be working with one of the North East's leading law firms. They are currently looking to recruit Marketing & Communications Assistant to join their team.

**Purpose of the Marketing and Communications Assistant**:
The marketing and communications executive will be supporting the Business Development Manager develop the firms business objective, curating internal and external marketing communications on the firm's website, social media and other communication channelsensure the messaging is consistent and on brand.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Implementing the firm’s marketing and communications plan including researching, planning and distributing content for the firm.
- Content creation for the firm’s website including blogs, news articles, and case studies to align with the firm’s brand strategy, ensuring content is optimised for SEO. Regular website reviews to ensure that content is up-to-date and on brand.
- Management of the social media accounts including creating and scheduling posts, monitoring engagement, and producing analytics reports for management.
- Liaising with key internal and external stakeholders - including media contacts - to develop PR and communications content and build relationships with these individuals to enhance brand awareness and reputation.
- Supporting the Marketing and Business Development Manager with communications material for BD activities including: tender documents; internal and external presentations; award submissions.
- Use the firm’s CRM system to develop marketing campaigns to existing clients and prospects. Work alongside the Systems Manager to produce marketing dashboards and business intelligence reports to monitor marketing activity
- Working with the Office Manager to develop a consistent internal brand through engaging internal communications activity including: staff surveys; regular staff newsletter; staff presentations
- Management of the internal and external events schedule including: budget management; supplier liaison; attendee liaison; and post-event feedback and reporting. You will also be required to represent the firm at networking events, exhibitions and conferences,both on and offline.
- Liaising with suppliers and agencies (e.g. digital agency, photographers, videographers, design agency) on project briefs, ensuring projects are delivered to specification and deadline and conform to brand guidelines.
- Prioritise work load and work independently when necessary
- Some evening and weekend work as necessary

**Essential Experience**:

- Proven track record in a marketing, PR, communications or related role - 2 yrs commercial experience
- Educated to degree level or with a marketing/PR professional qualification (L4 or above) and equivalent work experience e.g. CIM/CIPR
- Experience with WordPress or similar content management system
- Experience managing social media accounts

**Desirable experience**:

- Experience using CRM systems to implement marketing campaigns and produce reports
- Experience working in a law firm or other professional services environment
- Experience with graphic design packages such as Canva or Creative Cloud
