A HR Manager is required to join a niche manufacturing company based in Mid-Kent, who are part of a wider group based in Europe.
Chief responsibilities of the role will include:

- Responsible for managing all aspects of HR operational matters within the Company
- Managing and support recruitment process, to ensure a professional approach up to and including induction and on-boarding
- Liaising with internal departments such as Finance to ensure compliance to necessary regulations
- Advising across the business on all aspects of employment law
- Heading up all disciplinary and grievance cases to ensure full legal compliance and to maintain appropriate consistency
- Working with the CFO to maintain and acquire cost-effective employee-serving benefits
- Responsible for managing all absence recording and management including maternity/paternity/adoption etc. and manage and guide on welfare and employee safety

*The role will require travel to Head Office in Europe frequently to share best practice and establish strong relationships with board and SLT

The successful applicant must be CIPD qualified (Level 5 minimum) and have proven and demonstrable experience of working within corporate industrial manufacturing environment. A full driving licence is preferred.

Any experience of using SAP HR System would be beneficial also.

The role currently offers a 4 days working week Mon - Thurs.
