**Job overview**:
The post holder will work autonomously and take the operational lead on promoting the needs of those patients from minority and diverse communities through engagement with those communities, raising awareness amongst staff groups and working alongside local and national networks to address and challenge mental health inequalities.

This role will be instrumental in informing and improving the organisations response to diversity issues including in partnership devising and implementing policy and other types of quality controls, assurance and utilising improvement and experience frameworks in a fully co-produced and collaborative way.

**Main duties of the job**:
Promoting the mental health needs of patients from minority and/or disadvantaged groups and diverse communities including ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, poverty, age, learning disabilities, physical disability and neurodevelopmental disorders.

- Reasonable confidence and competence in using IT systems (e.g. Outlook, Word, clinical or other record systems) relevant to the role. Able to analyse and interpret data.
