**Purpose of the Role**

As an Office Administrator, you will provide an effective and efficient administration and support service to Partners, Managers, and Directors. This role is integral to the smooth running of our office, ensuring high-quality client service and operational efficiency.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Produce a range of documents, including letters, reports, schedules, and accounts, meeting agreed deadlines.
- Meet and greet visitors to the Taunton office, ensuring a professional and welcoming experience.
- Manage the scanning and electronic filing of documents, including post, tax working papers, and files for Iris Resourcing, IPS, and Workiro.
- Update the Iris database, producing standard letters and maintaining accurate practice management data.
- Administer company secretarial tasks and file documents with HMRC or other authorities as required.
- Organise events and functions, including arranging facilities, refreshments, equipment, and invitations, ensuring smooth delivery within budget.
- Maintain meeting rooms to a high standard and oversee the organisation of incoming and outgoing courier items.
- Control and manage client records, ensuring prompt delivery and return.
- Proactively suggest procedural changes to enhance efficiency.

**Skills and experience**:

- Previous experience in an administrative role
- Ability to produce accurate and professional documents, including letters, reports, schedules, and accounts.
- Confident in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and comfortable with database systems such as Iris or similar platforms.
- Experience in electronic filing systems, including scanning, organising, and archiving documents efficiently.
- Knowledge of HMRC filing procedures or similar regulatory requirements is desirable
- Strong skills in updating and maintaining accurate records within database systems.
