**TG Concrete, Concrete Despatcher - Ellesmere, Shropshire**

The Tudor Griffiths Group is one of the largest privately owned suppliers of construction and building materials in the UK, with Concrete Plants, Quarries and Builders Merchant depots located throughout North & Mid Wales, Shropshire, Cheshire and the West Midlands.

**Concrete Despatcher**:
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Concrete Despatcher based at our Head Office in Ellesmere.

The role involves planning deliveries of ready mixed concrete from our Shropshire, Cheshire, North Wales and West Midland loading plants and dealing with customer enquiries.

Key duties include:

- Liaising with customers to process and schedule orders for delivery
- Dealing with incoming customer sales enquiries
- Ensure deliveries are despatched on time and communicate any delays to the customer
- Develop a good geographical knowledge of our delivery area
- Develop and manage a professional relationship with new and existing customers

For this role, it is essential that you have:

- Logistical and / or planning experience
- Polite and professional and courteous approach to dealing with customers
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Organisation and time management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- IT literate
- A background in concrete would be an advantage but is not essential

Hours of work are Monday - Friday, 7am - 5pm, and occasional Saturday mornings may be required.

In return the company will offer a competitive rate of pay, company pension scheme and ongoing training and professional development in line with industry standards.

**Salary**: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
