The Role

We are looking for a reliable and professional HGV Driver to join our transport team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery and collection of materials to and from customer sites, ensuring excellent customer service at all times. This position is based out of our Wood Lane, Ellesmere, Shropshire site.

You'll represent TG Group on the road and on-site, upholding our values of safety, integrity, and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safely operate company HGV vehicles to deliver and collect materials and products.
  • Carry out daily vehicle checks in line with company and legal requirements.
  • Ensure loads are safely secured and comply with weight and safety regulations.
  • Complete delivery and collection documentation accurately.
  • Maintain a clean, presentable vehicle at all times.
  • Communicate effectively with the transport office, customers, and site staff.
  • Follow all company Health & Safety policies and procedures.
  • Provide excellent customer service and represent TG Group in a professional manner.
Skills & Experience
  • Full UK HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.
  • Valid Driver CPC.
  • Good knowledge of road transport regulations and driving hours.
  • Previous experience in the construction or building materials sector preferred.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • A positive attitude with a focus on safety and reliability.
