The Transport Scheduler will be expected to be the main point of call for drivers, briefing, debriefing and handling any driver related issues. They will also be expected to make last minute alterations to the plans/routes based on changing conditions.

**Description**

The key responsibilities for the role of Transport Scheduler in Cheshire will be:

- Briefing and debriefing drivers.
- Being the main point of contact for drivers.
- Making last minute changes on the day to transport/load plans.
- Communicating with drivers regarding on the road issues.
- Making under pressure decisions due to order changes.

**Profile**
- Experience working in a busy transport operation.
- Experience working and communicating with drivers.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Transport planning experience would be advantageous.
- A calm and considered head under pressure.

**Job Offer**
- A salary of £31,000 p/a.
