Warehouse Operative Apprentice

**About The Role**:
Are you ready to kickstart your career in a dynamic and thriving environment? Join us at Arco as a Warehouse Operative Apprentice, where you'll embark on a transformative journey of learning, growth and hands-on experience.

Starting as an apprentice you'll gain foundational skills and experience and work towards gaining an industry recognised Level 2 Lean Manufacturing Operative qualification. Throughout your 12 month apprenticeship you will receive support and training from specialist staff within Arco, with onsite and remote apprenticeship training delivered by our specialist training provider.

Key responsibilities:
As a warehouse operative apprentice within our Hose Division, you will be immersed in various aspects of warehousing, and manufacturing gaining hands on experience and exposure to:

- Receiving and booking in goods following company procedures
- Pick and pack customer orders following standard procedures
- Assemble stocked component into finished assemblies
- Carry out the required testing procedures in compliance with the company quality and relevant standards
- Following mandatory health and safety requirements, guidelines and recommendations to ensure a safe working environment

The ideal warehouse operative apprentice will be/have:

- Strong organisational skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Must be proficient in IT
- Must have a strong attention to detail
- Must be able to work well as part of a team
- Maths and English GCSE grades 3/D or above is desirable
