About the role

As our Warehouse Operative you will work in a safe and efficient manner, ensure the accurate flow of goods through the Arco NDC, from receiving to despatch, observing Arco’s policies and operational procedures throughout.

Key responsibilities include:

- Ensuring that customers are given the highest priority and customer service is maintained to the highest standards
- Ensuring the working environment is kept tidy & presentable for H&S purposes and customer visits
- Receiving and booking in goods following prescribed procedures, ensuring correct delivery quantities and products
- Ensuring the accurate put away of product to the correct storage location
- Picking and packing customer orders following standard procedures in an accurate and timely manner
- Assisting with the prompt and accurate return of product to vendor
- Safely operate the required equipment to place stock in the correct storage location, resolving physical and system issues when required
- Supporting other team members and other areas of the business when required

About you

The ideal Warehouse Operative will be/have:

- Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment
- Good written and verbal English skills
- Good numerical skills
- Manual handling experience

Experience of working to deadlines and a high level of attention to detail
- Basic IT Skills
- An understanding of Health & Safety within the warehouse
- Product knowledge including pack quantities

- Working hours 40 per week covering shift patterns Monday to Friday 6am - 2pm/2pm - 10pm
