Are you passionate about supporting young learners? We are seeking dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistants to work with various needs such as PMLD/SEMH/Autism to work across schools in Dudley, starting in January.
**Responsibilities**:
- Assist the class teacher in delivering high-quality education and fostering a positive learning environment.
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with diverse learning needs.
- Help in the preparation of teaching materials and classroom activities.
- Support students during lessons, encouraging active participation and engagement.
- Assist with classroom management and behaviour management strategies.
- Contribute to the creation of a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment.
- Supervise and support students during break times and outings.
- Collaborate with other staff members to share ideas and best practices.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and development.
- Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and parent-teacher conferences as required.
**Requirements**:
- A relevant teaching assistant qualification or equivalent experience.
- A genuine passion for working with young children and helping them succeed.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to build positive relationships with students.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
