**About the role**:
We are looking for a** Head of Analytics **to join us This new role will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of our marketplace by leading a high-performing analytics team. This role involves overseeing the governance, collection, analysis, and interpretation of vast amounts of data to generate actionable insights that inform key business decisions, such as enhancing user experiences, optimizing marketing efforts, and improving commercial performance. Reporting directly to the CEO, the Head of Analytics will develop and execute a robust data strategy that enables the business to scale effectively, drives revenue growth, and fosters a data-driven culture.

**What will you be doing**:
**Leadership & Collaboration**:

- Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse analytics team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Partner with cross-functional teams (Product, Marketing, Engineering, and Operations) to deliver business insights.

**Data Strategy & Insights**:

- Define and execute a company-wide data strategy aligned with business goals.
- Provide actionable insights through KPIs, predictive modeling, and advanced analytics to address key challenges.

**Product & Financial Optimisation**:

- Analyse user trends, A/B testing, and feature adoption to improve user experience.
- Partner with Finance and Commercial teams to optimise revenue streams, efficiency, and profitability.

**Tools & Innovation**:

- Oversee the implementation of advanced analytics, machine learning, and BI tools.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, evaluating technologies to enhance data infrastructure.

**What You’ll Bring**:

- 7+ years in analytics, including 3+ years in leadership roles within marketplaces or e-commerce.
- Expertise in SQL, Python, R, and BI tools like LookerStudio or Power BI.
- Experience with cloud-based platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, or Snowflake) and machine learning.
- Proven ability to lead teams, influence stakeholders, and drive measurable business impact.
