Ador Talent are working with a College who has campuses based in and around the Middleton & Rochdale area. This college is a fantastic place to work, with state of the art facilities, and offers excellent benefits and support to all employees.

As an SEN Learning Support Assistant, you will support children (aged 16-18) in an education setting who may have learning difficulties and / or disabilities therefore require additional support.

You will implement the agreed learning support with individuals and groups with a view to encourage learner independence using identified support strategies.

**Your Responsibilities will include**:

- Provide learning support on a 1 on 1 basis
- Support Teacher/Lecturers with general classroom support
- Record and review the learning approach for individual students throughout the year.
- Support students with personal care and medical needs including administration of medication indicated in their Healthcare Plans

**You will have**:

- You will ideally have a Enhanced DBS certificate (must be on the update service or dated in the last 3 months)
- Ideally you will have experience working with children or young adults.
- You must have a passion to help others and work with young adults
- Ideally you will have experience supporting SEN children or children with behavioural issues, however not essential.
