We are currently recruiting for a Hire Controller to support the smooth and efficient day to day running of the hire desk. This role will be responsible for the co-ordination of forklift trucks and plant hire equipment on a short and long term basis.

Key Responsibilities:

- First point of contact for short term and operated hire enquiries from customers
- Managing and coordinating delivery and collection of equipment to and from customers sites
- Producing delivery and collection paperwork and final invoice to customer
- Updating and maintaining the hire system to ensure all movement of equipment is recorded
- Producing monthly utilisation reports and recording hire enquiry outcomes
- Ensuring health and safety standards for the equipment by maintaining database of all assets to ensure they are legally inspected and liaise with surveyors
- Registering equipment for use on the public road and coordinating with the DVLA
- Taking enquiries and organising forklift driver training courses for customers

**Experience**:

- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Well organised with an ability to plan and prioritise
- Efficient in time management
- Commercial awareness
- Good IT Skills

**Salary**: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

- Performance bonus

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Inverness, IV1 1SN: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- A-Level or equivalent (preferred)

**Experience**:

- customer service: 3 years (preferred)
