**Overview**:
As Transport Planner, you play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless coordination and optimisation of transport operations. Your responsibilities span various facets, ranging from maintaining drivers' schedules to efficiently planning and consolidating orders.

Location: Wakefield.
Shift Pattern: Sunday to Thursday 42.5 hours per week (09:00 starts).

**Salary**: Up to £45,000.00.

**Responsibilities**:
Maintain drivers hours map.

Book agency drivers as required from supplier.

Support to ensure sufficient resources are available to fulfil all shuttle plans, outbound plans, backhaul plans.

Sell loads to subcontractor as required with agreed prices and margin.

Buy backhaul loads as available in line with requirements.

Ensure all work undertaken is raised correctly and comprehensive information is recorded on TMS.

Consolidate orders in most efficient manner.

Route multi-drops in most appropriate manner.

Plan DD trailers to maximum use at point of consolidation.

Maintain drivers holiday plan in line with company requirements.

Pay: Up to £45,000.00 per year
