Within Tradecraft, the Geospatial Analysis (GA) Tradecraft Lead role provides orientation, intermediate, and advanced training to meet the operational needs of the GEOINT community within NCGI-A. The GA Tradecraft Lead will collaborate with UK and Allied training partners and external organisations to maximise the efficiency of existing and new training provision across the GEOINT wider community. The GA Tradecraft Lead role manages a team of trainers within NCGI-A Tradecraft. This is a pivotal enabling role requiring an innovative, motivated and hardworking professional Geospatial Analysis specialist with a passion for developing others to reach their full potential. It is an exciting role in a fast-paced environment where the incumbent will be well supported in a close-knit team. This position is advertised at 37 hours per week. **Job description**: Working within the Tradecraft Team, you will develop and deliver geospatial analysis training courses with mínimal supervision and within set timescales. The GA Lead will collaborate with the broader Tradecraft team to guarantee the delivery of GA support for other courses. The role also provides the opportunity to develop your own core skills as well as training functional competencies. The applicant will be a motivated individual with a keen interest in encouraging and inspiring GEOINT students from both civilian and military backgrounds. **Main responsibilities include**: Deliver GA-specific orientation and advanced training solutions. Scope, design, maintain and develop GA training for NCGI-A analysts. Support delivery of GA content included in other Tradecraft courses. Develop and maintain GA training pathways. Manage the workflow within the Tradecraft GEO team. Engage with other commercial, across-government and international training providers to identify and facilitate training provision for analysts within NCGI-A. Maintaining personal efficiency in the use of in-house IT systems and GEOINT software tools used within NCGI-A. Maintain currency with existing GEOINT technologies and analysis methodologies. Stay up to date with new and emerging systems, software and ways of working to maintain courses and identify new training needs. Ability to prioritise, work under pressure and meet tight timescales. **Desirable criteria**: Educational qualification (Level 3 certificate in Education and Training or equivalent) or equivalent experience. Teaching and course design experience and knowledge of the Defence Systems Approach to Training (DSAT) or similar framework. Ability to work well with others in an encouraging way. Good resource management skills.
