**About the role and what you’ll be doing**:
You will be working within our credit control and collections department. You would be a Credit Control / Collections Officer who loves working in a fast-paced environment, who can work well in a team and has excellent communication.
In brief, you will be ensuring the collection of all customer payments on time in order to minimise bad debts.

**Key accountabilities**:

- Daily management of the 'bounced direct debit' collection process
- Ensuring that contact takes place in accordance with the collections process.
- Taking decisive action on unpaid accounts
- Escalation to Management of any issues arising
- Ensure customer queries are responded to promptly and actions taken related to customers are documented in the debt management system

**Skills and experience we’d like you to have**:

- A keen eye for detail
- Strong communicator
- Good knowledge of Microsoft office
- Strong telephone manner
- Customer centric
- Ability to work in a fast paced agile environment
- Prior experience in credit control would be an advantage

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary contract
Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: £18,000.00-£20,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

**Experience**:

- credit control: 2 years (preferred)
- Customer relationship management: 2 years (preferred)
