**Apprentice Painter and Decorator**

This exciting opportunity offers the chance to be trained in all aspects of painting and decorating. You will be working in a varied environment, trained to work at height and in all weathers. There will be times when you'll be working away from home, or visiting our Training Academy in Doncaster.

**What will the Apprentice Painter and Decorator be doing?**

In year 2 the supervision you have will decrease and your pay will increase. Same in year 3.

**What training will the Apprentice Painter and Decorator take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?**
- College- 3 years (1 week per month/ 1 day per week) to achieve a L2 in Painting and Decorating.
- Bagnalls Painting Academy (Doncaster)- 1 to 2 weeks per year
- Site Based Learning- 3 years (3 weeks a month)
- Other relevant training can be undertaken where needed such as IPAF or PASMA

**What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?**
- To become a fully qualified painter and decorator at Bagnalls.

- GCSE or equivalent English (Grade Level 3 (C)) essential

**Location**: Teddington, TW11 **9BG**
**Contract Type: Apprenticeship**
**Hours**: Full Time, 39 hours per week. Monday - Thursday 8-5, Friday **8-4**
**Salary**: £11,559.60 per annum

In line with the CIJC you can earn up to £20,584 by the third year and more once you have completed your apprenticeship.
