The HR Directorate provides timely and professional HR support to the University, its managers and staff and the OD team sits within this Directorate. Its key purpose is to develop people, offer support with the management of talent within the University and to ensure that development opportunities are aligned to strategic, operational and workforce plans.

This is an exciting time to join the team as we move the people agenda forward to support the greater needs of the University staff.

Reporting to the Head of Organisational Development and in close liaison with colleagues within the wider HR team, you will be responsible for
- Identifying, benchmarking, developing, delivering and evaluating innovative and creative solutions to enhance employee experience and engagement. Linking initiatives and strategies to and supporting the achievement of organisational objectives.
- Project managing, reporting and recommendations arising from annual staff surveys and ad-hoc pulse surveys as agreed with senior leaders.
- Ensuring the university has best in class wellbeing offering that provides both excellent timely services along with value for money for the organisation.
- Working proactively with managers at all levels and with HR Business Partners to provide advice, evidence-based solutions, and measures to track success.
- To advise the organisation and staff on all aspects of staff engagement and wellbeing at the university.
- Providing excellent advice and actions to enhance staff experience at work.
- The people development solutions you deliver will require the broadest range of appropriate interventions.

You will be based within the Human Resources team at the Wolverhampton Campus although we work in a “hybrid way” with the nature of the work defining the time and place.
