**Overview**
We are recruiting for a Motor Claims Team Leader to join our Blue Light Claims Team.
You'll lead and inspire a group of dedicated Claims Professionals, leveraging your expertise in the claims process to provide invaluable support and guidance. As a pivotal figure, you'll manage daily team operations, uphold client expectations, foster staff development, and set the standard as a role model.
**How you'll make an impact**
- Lead and supervise a team to ensure compliance with Service Level Agreements
- Approve claims settlements within your financial authority
- Ensure the team is knowledgeable about Service Instructions and Policy Wordings
- Liaise with clients to meet their requirements and attend review meetings as needed
- Provide training and support team development in line with the Gallagher Bassett Learning & Development Prospectus
- Complete appraisals in a timely manner
- Be an escaltion point and respond promptly to complaints
- Manage solicitors in litigated cases to uphold litigation standards
- Assist the Head of Operations with general office administration for smooth operations
**About You**
- Previous Team Leader experience in a regulated environment is essential
- Support and encourage exceptional client service
- Demonstrate strong technical expertise and knowledge within your scope of responsibility
- Understand and strive to achieve Gallagher Bassett's Best Practices
- Exhibit strong listening, written, and verbal communication skills
- Create a positive work environment, treat others with respect, take responsibility for developing others, and inspire high performance
