We are recruiting for a Manufacturing Support Supervisor who is passionate about Right First-Time, Continuous Improvement and Quality to join our commercial manufacturing team, with practical experience of improving performance and efficiency in a GMP production environment ideally with oral solid dose products.

**About the role**
**You will be responsible for**:

- Supporting the Manufacturing Manager to plan and facilitate the training program in accordance with business needs, regulatory requirements, and Quality Management System.
- Acting as a role model to others, ensuring displayed behaviours and values are aligned with Custom’s expectations.
- Ensuring strict compliance with cGMP standards as defined by Company procedures and regulatory directives.
- Ensuring appropriate SOPs are in place for all activities and that they are periodically reviewed and agreed with the QA department.
- Acting as a Project Lead for New Product Introduction (NPI) process, working closely with QA, validation, CDO and Engineering to ensure that all equipment and processes meet GMP requirements in accordance with business acceptance criteria.
- Prioritising & manage process improvement projects
- Collating all continuous improvement suggestions from the department and determine priorities, projects or JDI (Just Do It) with support from management and SMT.
- Submitting CAPA and CC as required from NCR investigations or CI ideas and complete any actions as required from these processes.
- Supporting the shift Supervisors with the day to day running of the facility and help develop the Manufacturing Technicians in-line with company and individual goals and Investor in People standards.
- Providing assistance and coaching to Manufacturing Technicians to improve cGMP and Right First Time.
**About You**
**Qualifications, knowledge, skills & experience required**
- GCSEs in Science and Maths
- Green Belt or demonstrable continuous improvement experience
- Ability to write detailed investigation reports that are accurate and easily understood.
- Proven relevant experience in a similar position in a GMP environment or a related discipline. Knowledge and practical experience in solid dose, preferred.
- Worked with teams in a production environment in supervisory role to improve performance and efficiency.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent numerical skills
- Self-motivated, requiring minimum supervision
- High Level of IT literacy. Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Energy and drive with a ‘can-do’ attitude
- Team player who is able to focus on departmental goals whilst respecting the needs of others.
- Demonstrable planning, and organisation skills.
- Ability to handle, interpret and trend facts and data and use such to drive operational improvement and culture change
- Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks with potentially conflicting requirements
- Autonomy and a sense of responsibility.
- Ability to manage projects in order to see changes through to completion
- Process-focused with a passion for continuous improvement.
