Overview: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will provide essential support to patients in various healthcare settings. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others. Duties: - Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming - Administer medication under the supervision of healthcare professionals - Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature - Assist with mobility and transfers - Provide emotional support and companionship to patients - Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in patient rooms - Follow care plans and instructions from healthcare professionals - Document patient observations and report any changes or concerns Skills: - Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English - Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare professionals - Proficient in basic IT skills for documentation purposes - Knowledge of home care practices and procedures - Familiarity with care plans and their implementation - Understanding of the needs of patients in a care home setting - Valid driver's license for transportation purposes We offer competitive compensation and benefits packages for our Healthcare Assistants.
