Magisters Education have recently partnered with a primary school in Lewisham. They are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to work on a full time basis and start asap
About the role
The Teaching Assistant role will be full-time Monday-Friday, 8.30am-3.30pm.
You will be working alongside other staff members and providing 1:1 additional support to students across KS1 and KS2. You will also be supporting students with SEN.
Your main focus will be working with children who need help with their learning development, so ideally you will need to have some background in supporting pupils within this field.
Job requirements
Previous child-centred experience with the primary age range- desirable.
Understand how to work with pupils and build positive relationships with various pupils quickly and efficiently
Love of education and the desire to make a positive impact on the lives of others
Confident, proactive and enthusiastic person
Good behaviour management skills
