An Ofsted ‘good’ rated Secondary school in Lewisham, South East London is seeking a dedicated teaching assistant to support classroom-based learning and 1-1- pupil support.
You will be joining a warm, passionate, and friendly team, whilst being responsible for providing the best care and support in a stimulating environment for children’s educational and social development. Thus, supporting students with difficulties accessinglearning due to learning or behaviour difficulties. This role would be suitable for an experienced teaching assistance or someone looking for their first teaching assistance role.
**The school is looking for a teaching assistance with:
- A desire to support students on a 1-1 basis
- Provides a proactive and engaging learning environment for all pupils
- Promote independent learning and reinforce learning
- Keep students on task and build motivation
- Develop and understanding of the special educational needs of the students he/she is working with
