Finance Assistant

Purolite, an Ecolab company, the world leader in resin-based separation, purification and extraction technology, is seeking a **Finance Assistant**.

The** Finance Assistant** will support the export finance processes and day to day transactional processing tasks.This position will involve interaction with supply chain, sales, customers, suppliers, and finance institutions and will require a flexible approach. This role is based in Llantrisant reporting to the Financial Controller.

**What you’ll do**:

- Support the administration of all finance related export documentation and documentary credits
- Help resolve issues related to documentary credits, liaise with banks, logistics providers and internal supply chain and sales teams
- Process sales invoicing activity for multiple legal entities
- Process intercompany purchase invoices
- Assist with intercompany reconciliations and resolution of issues
- Process improvement
- Provide holiday cover for Accounts Payable and Credit Control
- Administer documentary credits and supporting documentation (Letters of Credit, Cash against documents, etc)
- Sales invoicing to external customers for Core and Bioprocessing businesses
- Upload invoices to customers portals
- Sales invoicing to intercompany trading partners
- Processing of intercompany purchase invoices
- Intercompany AR and AP reconciliations
- External vendor supplier reconciliations
- Ad hoc tasks supporting the Financial Accounting and Management accounting teams
- Liaise with auditors - prepare information for the annual audit

**What you’ll need**:

- Good communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with people at all levels
- Able to handle multiple tasks, work under pressure, meet deadlines required, flexibility and stay organized.
- Experience with accounting systems
- Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills
- Experience in exportation of goods with a sound knowledge of Letters of Credit and associated export documentation, training will be provided
