I am exclusively recruiting on behalf of an SME manufacturing business in the Llantrisant area. My client is seeking to recruit an experienced and hands-on Financial Controller to join its small finance team.

Main duties of the role will include -- Manage the day-to-day operations of the Finance Function
- Preparation of Monthly Management accounts
- Maintenance and development of reporting across the company and development of KPI’s
- Management of Cash Flow and Treasury Function, including Cash Flow Forecasting
- Main point of contact for dealings with Finance Partners including Bank & Stock Loan Facility
- Assist in driving the performance / usage of Company’s IT system
- Support the SMT with relationships with key stakeholders, banks, auditors, and advisors
- Provision of detailed analytical reviews of financial performance, including departmental and revenue margins and overhead costs to support decision across the business
- Ensure ongoing HMRC compliance, including preparation of returns such as VAT returns, P11D returns & PAYE compliance
- Identify, implement, and document opportunities for scalable improvements to financial reporting, controls, and processes to support the Company’s growth
- Ad hoc financial reporting and analysis to support financial decisions

- Possess significant PQ experience with thorough technical knowledge, including management accounting and financial reporting.
- Have experience of working in the manufacturing sector
- Have experience of using SAP, or similar ERP system
- Possess Strong Excel skills
- Have a good understanding of payroll processes
