As a CNC Miller Setter/Operator your role involves the setup, operation, and maintenance of CNC machines. Your expertise in machine setup, and precision machining will ensure the production of high-quality parts that meet strict industry standards and specifications. You will work closely with engineers, and other manufacturing personnel to achieve efficient and accurate machining operations.

**Responsibilities**:

- Setting and operating of CNC machines.
- Working to close tolerances
- Directly involved in continuous improvement programs and quality control.

**Skills and Experience**:

- Minimum 3 years’ experience in setting and operating CNC machines, including installing workpieces, fixtures, cutting tools.
- Ability to select and install appropriate cutting tools, tool holders, and fixtures for the machining process.
- Must be self-motivated, shows initiative, has the ability to problem solve and work alone.
- A sound working knowledge and understanding of machine tooling and proper tool usage.
- Good attention to detail
- Knowledge and experience in operating CNC machines, specifically Siemens 840D Controls
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong understanding of CNC programming languages (e.g., G-code).

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £14.30-£16.71 per hour
