32.5 HOURS TERM TIME ONLY

Western Primary School have appointed a brand new, ambitious Leadership team, in its Resource Based Provision. We are looking to appoint a Level 4 Teaching Assistant, who will complement the new leadership team of Unit Lead and a Unit teacher, and the existing team of outstanding Teaching Assistants.

The Resource Base Unit is designed to support pupils who have difficulties in managing their behaviours in a mainstream primary environment due to their SEMH issues.
The successful applicant will be responsible for working as part of the new team, supporting up to 12 young people across the primary age range.

To be considered a real asset, we want someone who:

- Has the capacity to successfully support children across the primary phase;
- has strong behaviour management skills;
- can work on a 1:1 basis or with a small group;
- is able to deliver and plan small group sessions;
- confident, outstanding practitioner;
- can be a team leader and a team player;
- has a friendly and professional manner;
- believes that ‘every child does matter’
