**WEDDING COORDINATOR**

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual to work in our beautiful venue. Colshaw Hall is a well-established and award-winning wedding venue located in the Cheshire Countryside, and we are looking to expand our established team.

We are looking for a wedding coordinator to facilitate the day-to-day operation of our wedding bookings. This is a key role to ensure the success of our couples wedding days, providing exceptional service to ensure the wedding day runs smoothly from start to finish.

As this is an event operation-based role, it will be expected that you will work weekends and bank holidays through the year.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**

Meet and greet wedding guests

Manage the arrival and departure of guests staying overnight

Manage the operational delivery of the wedding day - not limited to but including liaising with bridal parties, operational delivery of the wedding ceremony, drinks reception, wedding breakfast and beyond ensuring that timings are adhered to, wedding set ups are correct and managing wedding guest movements through the day.

Management of suppliers onsite and deliveries, ensuring set ups and turn arounds are complete as per guests plans along with health and safety.

Work with wedding office team to ensure all final arrangements of weddings are complete.

Join venue team for wedding open days or open evenings to support with the sale of the venue to new couples.

Build and maintain strong working relationships with the internal and external teams

Ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction, both pre-post and during each wedding.

To ensure that the venue is always presentable.

Support admin tasks in the office where required, such as responding to enquiries, conducting show rounds and final details meetings.

**RESPONSIBILITIES FOR STANDARDS**

Work independently & be self-motivated, able to see opportunities for development and improvement and take these forward

Strong attention to detail and delivery of the highest standards.

Ensure Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are in place for any co-ordination of events

Ensure that all operational departments are briefed on each event in fine detail and liaise with other departments on the preparation/feedback on events to ensure that maximum guest experience is achieved.

Strong organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

Effective communication skills to liaise with clients, vendors, and other stakeholders

Hospitality industry knowledge to understand the needs and expectations of clients

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Must have access to a vehicle and a Full UK driving licence
- Must hold a Valid UK Passport or EU Citizens card
- Must be flexible with the days and hours you can work as weddings can be hosted on any day of the week with each wedding having different requirements.
- Must be able to work weekends especially during the peak wedding season.
- Must be happy to work longer weeks during the peak wedding season.
- Friendly, Polite and very presentable
- Meticulous attention to detail is essential
- Must have excellent computer skills
- 2+ year’s experience in hospitality
- Previous wedding sales or operations experience is preferred

Salary based on experience & capability, competitive.

Pay: From £22,900.00 per year

**Experience**:

- Event Management: 2 years (preferred)
