The Role:
This role will also contribute to the overall success of our organisation in accordance with Migrant Help’s visions, values and objectives.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership, direction and mentoring for managers and staff within Migrant Help, building formal and informal relationships, and effective communication
- To take responsibility and ownership of the Business Intelligence processes for Asylum Services
- Operational management of the AIRE Business Support Centre, Submissions, Guidance and Knowledgebase.
- Perform analysis on data, prepare strategies and provide business object solutions
- Co-ordinate with the data generators, ensuring accuracy of data, compliance and analysis of trends and scope for improvements
- Promote Migrant Help policy in all activities and behaviours
- Contribute to the preparation of contingency and emergency plans and ensure implementation when required for your areas of responsibility
- Contribute to the strategic thinking of the organisation, being innovative, identifying effective ways of working and finding solutions for challenging Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) with supporting evidence
- Monitor demand data in relation to staffing levels in Asylum Services to alert leadership colleagues recruitment need
- Contribute to the development and delivery of the medium-to-long term strategic and business plans for the organisation
- Manage all data for transactional sources and prepare effective reports
- To lead, develop, implement, and maintain the UK wide infrastructure for the delivery of Migrant Help advice services to asylum seekers under the contract regime
- Manage devolved budgets in accordance with the financial procedures outlined in the budget delegation and to operate the national infrastructure within the agreed budget and performance targets
- To work closely with the Home Office to promote the efficient and effective operation of the services in the best interests of asylum seekers and refugees
- Promote equality, diversity and employee rights & obligations in all actions and activities
- Represent the organisation at high level internal and external stakeholder / community meetings, operating and negotiating with senior civil servants and up to ministerial level
- Support the Director of Asylum Services to develop and deliver the vision for the organisation taking into account national asylum policy context as well as local, regional or devolved nation circumstances
- Ensure visibility throughout the organisation and personally carry out regular visits to all areas (including those areas you do not have direct responsibility for)

- Be able to provide continuous UK address history for the previous 5 years
- Provide full employment history for the previous 3 years and/or suitable documentation to cover any gaps in employment
