**The Role**

We are looking for a **Production Operative** to join our manufacturing team in Thatcham.
You’ll play a key role in producing high-quality metal assemblies, supporting the construction of bus and cycle shelters and other transport infrastructure.

This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with practical experience in manufacturing or metalwork, who takes pride in quality, accuracy and safety.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Carry out **drilling and tapping** of metal assemblies
- Ensure all work meets **high quality standards** and accuracy requirements
- Follow **health & safety procedures** and use PPE correctly
- Collaborate with the production, technical and quality teams
- Occasionally support **cross-functional improvement projects** and training

**About You**

**Essential**:

- Experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Good working knowledge of **metal assemblies** and **production processes**:

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Reliable and able to work both independently and as part of a team

**Desirable**:

- Familiarity with **lean manufacturing principles**:

- Ability to interpret **technical drawings or documentation**

**Working Hours**

Typically between **6am and 6pm, Monday to Friday**, depending on workload and project needs.
Additional hours may be required, with **paid overtime**.
