**Job Title: Production Operator**

GowringsVersa are a manufacturer and supplier of wheelchair accessible vehicles based at Thatcham Berkshire, due again to further increase of sales we are seeking several Production Operatives to join our busy work shop. You will be given the opportunity and training to progress in this role to Vehicle Conversion Technician.

**Overview of Responsibilities**:

- Observe all relevant Health & Safety procedures.
- Refitting of converted vehicle interior and exterior including trim panels, carpet, head lining, lighting and bumper.
- Fitting of electrical equipment. Including winches, reversing sensors, belts, lighting.
- Fitting of options as per customer specifications, including seats, ramp, storage.
- Modification and fit trim-related sub-assemblies.
- Modification & fitment of fuel tank, exhaust, fuel and brake pipe systems.
- Fitting chassis support crossmembers, cut out OE floor and fit replacement.
- Keep good housekeeping.

**Person specification**:

- Ability to work independently.
- Total Quality conscious with do it right first time thinking.
- Competent in using a variety of hand power tools.
- Valid car license.

**Hours**
- 40h per week. 7:00am - 4:00pm Mon - Thu. 7:00am -Finish early 12:45pm Friday

**Salary**
- £24,000 PA (pay increase review during initial 3 and 6 month probation period)

**Other benefits**
- Holidays 25 + bank holidays with an existing agreement to use holiday between Christmas and New year
- Pension 3% company contribution.
