As a Senior Commercial Lead, you will be working on proposals to introduce competition into transmission network build, which can minimise costs for consumers and encourage innovation in delivering the network investment required to operate a zero-carbon electricity network.

This role is based in Warwick, and we continue to offer hybrid working from office and home. We are open to full time and part time applicants, as well as flexible working arrangements.

- Knowledge of project financing of long-term infrastructure, industrial projects or public services, with experience in the debt and equity aspects used to fund such projects, using a non-recourse or limited recourse financial structure
- Understanding of how debt and equity is paid back from the cashflow of a project
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with knowledge of financial analysis/modelling of complex projects
- Strong stakeholder management skills, ability to effectively challenge complex commercial ideas
- Is resilient problem solver, comfortable with working in a new and changing environment that gives the team the opportunity to shape the future of network investment
- Can proactively identifies challenges, risks, and opportunities and shows initiative to progress appropriately

**What you'll get**:
A competitive salary between £46000-58000p.a. dependent on capability.
As well as your base salary, you will receive a bonus based on personal and company performance and a competitive contributory pension scheme where we will double match your contribution to a maximum company contribution of 12%. **Key Accountabilities**:

- Deliver financial modelling methodologies in conjunction with consultant support, understand the potential outcomes of future debt and equity structures in project delivery and be able to develop and perform commercial tender assessments upon completion of commercial models.
- Review and challenge outputs to ensure they align with the ESO strategic objectives and deliver an adequate risk/ reward balance for tender participants and consumers
- Produce high quality written and presentation materials for workshops, programme reports and governance purposes.
