We are happy to be recruiting for one of our high-profile utilities clients. They are currently looking for a Procurement & Supply Chain Administrator to join them for an initial 7 month contract, however, with the possibility for extension.

**Role Summary**:
The role of the Procurement & Supply Chain Administrator will be to perform supply chain and logistics functions such as material procurement, production planning, inventory control, outsourcing, vendor selection and distribution. To create integrated processesamong internal functions (e.g, operations, purchasing and logistics) and outside suppliers. Responsibilities are within the Supply Chain and Logistics Function as a generalist or in a combination of disciplines.

**Outline of Duties**:

- **Supplies and Ordering** to effectively manage the supply of parts and materials queries from a range of suppliers to deliver service levels from stock and resolve all product technical queries.
- **Product Lifecycle Management**to plan and coordinate Portable Appliance testing actively as well as the physical repair and reutilisation of engineers' power tools and technical equipment used out in the field, including managing hazardouswaste procedures, bin checks and technical queries from the field.
- **Van Stock Management**to ensure that engineer van stocks are up to date and accurately maintained to enable engineers to maximise van stock utilisation to deliver same day customer service.
- **Field Services**to plan and coordinate Portable Appliance testing activity as well as the physical repair and reutilisation of engineers' power tools and technical equipment used out in the field.
- **Smart Meter Supply Chain**to provide full visibility of Meter Assets held within the Smart Meter Supply Chain ensuring that Asset Reutilisation is maximised, and any risks are proactively identified and managed across the E2E Smart SupplyChain.

**Knowledge and Experience**:

- Experience of Data Analysis (use of spreadsheets, lookups and pivot tables)
- Experience of MS Excel, Word and Teams
- Product/Parts knowledge (ability to recognise stock in the warehouse)
- Ability to work a part of a team

**Location**:
For this role you will be required to work on site Monday to Friday based in the Leicester office.

**Working hours**:
Standard working hours with some flex where required.
