This is an exciting opportunity for an organised and forward thinking administrator. Working in collaboration with Chelsea and Westminster Hospital clinicians and our partners at Skin Analytics, the Teledermatology Admin Coordinator will have hands on experience working with one of the NHS’ first clinical deployments of Artificial Intelligence and a successful teledermatology programme.

The post holders will be a significant part of the team shaping this brand new clinical pathway. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly skilled patient administrator looking to progress and develop.

The post holder will be required to provide admin support to facilitate successful management of the Dermatology two week wait (2WW) pathway known as Teledermatology. Teledermatology is supported by medical photography, patients will have their lesions photographed. These photographs will then be reviewed by a Dermatologist and a will receive a letter updating them of the outcome. The post holder, will need a thorough understanding of the 2WW pathway and the implications on the onward akin cancer pathway. The post holder will also support the implementation and further development of Skin Analytics, an artificial intelligence software for for suspected skin cancer lesion detection.

- To manage all administrative processes relating to the Teledermatology 2WW pathway including; triaging 2WW teledermatology clinics, managing 2WW ASIs, cancelling clinics due to annual leave/sickness, allocating teledermatology cases to be processed by clinicians and writing clinic outcome letters and ensuring onward referrals are completed.
- To support the Skin Cancer Surveillance Coordinator and Junior Service Manager with maintaining high 2WW performance against Trust targets.
- To establish and maintain administrative processes for Chelsea and Westminster Hospital’s innovative skin lesion pathway using Skin Analytics technology.
- To work with clinicians and the Skin Analytics team to share feedback on the pathway and systems to continually improve hospital processes and patient experience.
- To support with the implementation of Skin Analytics at West Middlesex Hospital.
- To support with the collection of performance and/or referral and clinic outcome data for post-market surveillance of Skin Analytics.
