Female Personal Care Assistant/Support Worker required to assist an elderly woman with a Physical Disability living in the Abronhill, Cumbernauld area.

You would work in a small team of other personal assistants, personal carers and the woman’s family to support her health, wellbeing and quality of life.

You would be required to provide one to one care and assistance within her home and in the community including attending to domestic tasks and participation in community activities. Your duties would involve assisting with tasks such as:

- Occasionally, supporting with personal care needs - showering, toileting including bowel movements if required.
- Prompting to take medication.
- Moving and assisting - pushing manual wheelchair.
- Preparing meals and healthy snacks.
- General Housework - laundry and cleaning.
- Trips to cafes, shops, medical appointments.
- Any other daily living tasks to promote independent living.

You must be friendly, honest, punctual and flexible**.**

You must take a proactive and innovative approach to support and encourage individual to be involved in activities suited to their needs.

A driver with a Full UK Driving Licence is essential - you will be required to use your own vehicle, milage will be paid.

Experience is preferred but not essential as training will be provided.

Good interpersonal and communication skills are essential.

**Hours of Work (with a degree of flexibility)**:
Recruiting for 1 position.

Guaranteed permanent position of 5 hours per week.

**Days and Times**:
Alternative Thursday and Friday: 1pm to 6pm.

**Hourly Rate**:
£15 per hour.
