You will sit on the Senior LeadershipTeam and have an oversight on all things Safety and Assurance within the West Midlands CMO contract.

**Location**: Wolverhampton ( in the office 4 days a week minimum)

**Salary**: 70K - 80K plus car allowance and 15% car allowance

**Head of Safety Duties**:

- Lead a high performing team with a focus on improving health & safety, engineering compliance, and competence and training standards within the CMO and the Supply Chain
- Develop, implement, and review industry leading policies and working procedures to enable safe and productive delivery of work in accordance with client requirements.
- Act as the business lead for all health and safety matters across Trinity identifying and responding to current legal and best practice requirements whilst incorporating specific Client requirements.
- Ensure and monitor compliance with Key HSE legislation (eg CDM, Temporary Works, HSWA)
- Set the strategic direction for effective health and safety management and appropriate workplace wellbeing programmes for Trinity employees (including mental health first aid)
- Work proactively with the Senior Leadership Team, the Client, and other key stakeholders to maintain a programme of continuous improvement in the management of health, safety and wellbeing.
- Effectively coordinate the Safety & Assurance Management team to ensure compliance requirements are being controlled, documented and maintained in accordance with regulations and guidelines
- Manage effective reporting and communications on HSEQ issues both internally and externally.
- Provide direct support and counsel to the SLT on HSEQ matters ensuring that works are conducted in accordance with the JV Safety Principles.

**Head of Safety Requirements**:
Background experience ideally in the gas or from out of industry heavily safety regulated, Construction or Water.
