Pay: £10.37
Hours of work: Monday - Friday (9am - 5pm) or (7:45 to 15:45)

**What you’ll be responsible for**:
**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Greet patients at reception in a helpful, polite and efficient manner.
- Check all demographic details for patients on arrival, updating theses appropriately whilst adhering to the Trust policies for data protection and patient confidentiality.
- Register patient's attendance on our electronic patient record (EPR) in real-time
- Deal with queries in a sympathetic and professional manner using tact and diplomacy when dealing with anxious patients and relatives.
- To ensure that all reception clinic lists are available, up to date and accurate, recording all late bookings, cancellations and patient that did not attend (DNA's) appropriately.
- To ensure return transport for patients attending appointments at the request of the senior nurse or the ambulance service.
**Skills**:
- Experience of hospital electronic patient record systems
- High standard of spoken and written English.
- Good organisational skills
- Ability to communicate
- Experience of working in a customer focused environment.
