**Job description**
The RAC are looking to expand the team with the introduction of a pioneering Data Insight Analyst colleague who has an eye for finding new and better ways of doing things.As a business we provide complete peace of mind to more than 12.7m UK personal and businessmembers, whatever their driving needs - from breakdown assistance to insurance and a range of other motoring services.As Data Insight Analyst we will look for you to establish great working relationships with both external suppliers and internal customers.You will need to ensure that suitable governance is in place to support the business’s need of maintain data accurately.
The successful post holder will report to the Demand & Forecasting Manager and be required to create and maintain data assets for the business suitable for the delivery of MI and Insight to the business. Work to help maintain and prioritise the book of workin conjunction with colleagues and business priorities whilst managing the day to day ETL process of loading and enhancing data into a clean and usable state.
This position is based from our flagship office in Bristol, with occasional requirement to travel to the operational hub in Walsall, and to panel partners in North East, London, Midlands.
**Key responsibilities**
Data Insight Analyst is required to deliver and drive new initiatives to ensure the data landscape for the RAC is improving all the time.You will support with the creation of an insight community within the RAC ensuring all business units are communicatingfindings in a coherent way. Driving strategic change to improve RAC’s data management policies and capabilities.
You will interact with internal departments to deliver effective Insight and MI data providing stakeholder management with key touch points: call centre (inbound & outbound), campaigns, operations etc. to ensure continuous feedback & improvement.
**Qualifications**
The successful Data Insight Analyst will require skills/ knowledge and experience in the following areas:

- Financial and commercial awareness for both marketing campaigns & external relationships
- Previous project management experience and understanding
- Organised, efficient, and productive - Capable of managing their own tasks as well as others
- Experience of providing MI reporting
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft SQL
