The successful applicant will assist in the overall delivery of care to patients within the mental health and clinical substance misuse team of HMP Garth.
As a Team Leader, the post holder will assist the team manager to ensure that GMMH and prison policies are adhered to within the Healthcare setting.
The successful applicant is required to be resilient and possess excellent leadership qualities. An ability to work well as part of a multidisciplinary team is essential.
Healthcare services operate 7 days a week, 24 hours a day, and the successful applicants would need to be flexible in their approach to meeting the demands of the service.
The Mental Health & Clinical Substance Misuse Team Leader will assist the Mental Health & Clinical Substance Misuse Team Manager and Senior Management to lead and develop a team of healthcare staff and visiting professionals.
To provide mental health and clinical substance misuse treatment to men at HMP Garth using evidence based practice and being in line with NMC code of conduct.
To provide support as a team leader to junior staff and the wider staff within the prison. Deputizing for the manager where necessary.
