Are you passionate about the inclusion of children with special educational needs and disabilities?
Teaching Personnel are looking for full-time Support Workers who love working with children, in the Berkshire area. You will be supporting SEN pupils who are both primary and secondary aged with a primary diagnosis of ASC.
The purpose of the school is to prepare students for the demands of adult life through staff expertise and specialist approaches. This included providing a nurturing and therapeutic environment that encourages students to flourish academically, socially,emotionally and spiritually.
Relevant experience is beneficial but no experience is necessary. Full training is provided and is fully supported by an experienced and dedicated team. This is a great opportunity to gain experience in a childcare setting and progress your career.
Responsibilities Include:
- Providing support within the classroom
- Personal Care Support
- Working alongside other staff to provide the best possible care
- Able to work with groups or 1:1 support within the classroom
- Supporting pupils with Autism & Learning Difficulties
- Supervising pupil behaviour
- Encourage, engage and support pupils with their learning & development.
- Be able to work both within the school and off site to encourage and support their learning.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
