If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you Our prestigious hospital is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Maintenance Supervisor to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities.
Position: Maintenance Supervisor (Electrically Biased)
**Responsibilities**:
- Supervise a team of 4 engineers and oversee the work of 20 subcontractors in a hospital environment.
- Coordinate and prioritise maintenance tasks, ensuring all work is completed efficiently and to a high standard.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify maintenance needs and address them promptly.
- Provide technical guidance and support to the maintenance team, offering expertise in electrical systems and equipment.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimise downtime and optimise equipment performance.
- Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure maintenance activities align with hospital operations.
- Monitor and manage the maintenance budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively.
- Ensure compliance with relevant health and safety regulations and hospital policies.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, including work orders, equipment manuals, and warranties.
- Stay up-to-date with industry advancements and best practices in electrical maintenance.
**Requirements**:
- Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems.
- Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role, overseeing a team of engineers and subcontractors.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
