**Purpose of Role**

To check quality of and pack containers and components in line with packing specifications.

**Duties and Responsibilities**

Quality

1. To carry out visual quality checks whilst packing components

2. To check the quality of components against a signed sample at frequencies laid down in procedures

3. To carry out all quality checks outlined in procedures

4. To remove and record all faulty components and report any fault to production management

Packing

5. To pack components as required by the relevant packing specification

6. To record production as required for traceability and accountability

7. To remove completed production and transfer it to the next operation

8. To ensure consumables required to maintain production output are maintained at all times.

Health and Safety/Hygiene

9. To work in a safe manner in line with company procedures.

10. To report any risks or unsafe working practices to the Supervisor

11. To comply with all company hygiene regulations at all times

General

12. To record access and exit from the site through use of swipe card system

13. To maintain housekeeping standards at all times

14. To identify improvement opportunities and communicate these to Supervisors

15. To comply with all company rules, regulations and procedures at all times.

16. To carry out all reasonable requests from the production management team

17. At all times, to act in the best interests of the Company and conduct yourself accordingly.

Company sick pay up to 24 weeks (increasing with years of service)

Annual bonus scheme - paid in December payroll - up to 4% based on achieving KPI targets

All PPE provided, including safety shoes

One to one training

Overtime available on all shifts

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £22,365.30-£25,405.22 per year

Additional pay:

- Yearly bonus
