We are looking for an Insurance Advisor to join our growing team at The Horsham Mortgage Centre.

Full or Part Time considered.

Must have sales and Financial Services experience.

The Insurance Advisor will be responsible for providing advice to new and existing clients, covering all their insurance needs, from life cover, critical illness, income protection, unemployment, medical, and home insurance. As well as covering key areas such as Trusts and Wills.

You’d be expected to provide great customer service by maintaining existing clientele, as well as implementing measures to expand the customer base. As a key player in our organisation, you will leverage your exceptional communication and sales skills to guide clients and give your professional advice to help them choose policies tailored to their needs.

**Skills**

You'll need to have:

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- The confidence to advise and negotiate with clients and underwriters
- The ability to build, manage and develop relationships
- Customer service skills
- Understanding of industry regulations and compliance
- The ability to plan, prioritise and manage your time
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to seek out innovative solutions
- The ability to work well in a team, and individually
- Resilience and self-motivation
- An understanding of client confidentiality and how to be discreet
- Administrative and IT skills
- A commitment to continuous learning and development
- Excellent sales and negotiation abilities to effectively pitch and close life insurance policies.

**Experience**
- At least 2 years sales experience
- 2 years’ experience within the financial services industry _(desirable, but not essential)_
- GCSE Maths & English at Grade C/Level 4 or above
- Familiarity with insurance regulations and policies _(desirable, but not essential)_
