Lavandi Talent is currently working with a Fantastic Business within the Beauty and Personal Care Industry who are looking for an experienced and innovative Senior Development Chemist
**Key Responsibilities**
- Assist and lead in the design, development and research of new innovative product formulations.
- Responsible for the production of development, reviewing the samples and ensuring this meets the laboratory calendar.
- Keep up to date with the lab schedule, to ensure correct timing of all projects.
- Ensure all documents and information is completed, to allow for an efficient hand over to manufacture.
- Work closely with the Head of Technical in the research and development and assist in keeping the company at the up to date in terms of raw material innovation and process developments.
- Ideally degree qualified, or equivalent, in Chemistry or Science, preferably Cosmetic Science, or equivalent.
- Ideally obtained a further qualification in Cosmetic Science, such as SCS Diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience with in a similar background in a production or laboratory environment is essential.
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Self-motivated and enthusiastic with the ability to work unsupervised, using their own initiative, with a passion for cosmetics.
- Excellent organisation, time management & problem-solving skills
- Computer literate in Microsoft Office, with strong knowledge of Excel.
