Business Development Manager

Our ever-growing client in Newbury is looking for a Business Development Manager to join their company 55k + commission based bonus scheme, HYBRID working, 25 days holiday including bank holidays and option for private healthcare.
As a Business Development Manager you will enjoy the following:

As the Business Development Manager your responsibilities will include:
- Create sales strategies targeting new customers and industries.
- Develop lasting and positive relationships with new customers.
- Work with the Sales & Marketing Manager on new marketing campaigns.
- Process customer quotes and orders
- Ensure seamless handover of orders to production department.
- Obtain feedback from customers.
- Conduct customer data management through the CRM system.
- Providing sales forecasting data.
- Understand clear customer service requirements & create specific key customer development plans with SMART
objectives.
- Planning and preparing presentations
- Communicating new material and technology developments to prospective customers
To succeed as the Business Development Manager you will have:
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and an ability to read technical drawings and interpret manufacturing requirements (desirable)
- Professional and capable customer interaction/engagement
- IT literate and competent with using Microsoft Office packages and CRM systems (varying)
- Experience at trade shows and public presentations
- A 'hunter’ with a keen passion for technical sales
- Have a high attention to detail
- Ability to prioritise tasks
- Must be willing to travel throughout the world to visit customers
- Technical or Engineering Degree is desirable but not essential, but a good level of technical understanding is
required
