**Based from our Gateshead office, 2 days in the office and the rest from home**

We have a fantastic opportunity for a brilliant Marketing Executive to join our dynamic team, where you’ll be tasked with inspiring and engaging our customers across the Lookers Group. This is a hybrid / remote working position, with travel throughout the UK as required.

We're looking for an all-round marketing expert with a creative flair and a keen eye for detail: with two years of experience in a similar fast-paced role. It is a broad role; where you will develop your skillset and get involved in creating some compelling content and campaigns for our award-winning business.
Reporting to the Brand Marketing Manager, you will assist with developing and delivering the marketing strategy for the Group and the Volkswagen Division, helping to maximise revenue and margin through effective digital marketing planning and execution.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Liaising and networking with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Developing a thorough understanding of manufacturer brands to maximise their potential within our portfolio
- Update and maintain high quality web content following Brand and financial compliance guidelines
- Write and proof-read marketing copy for both online and print campaigns, segmenting data for distribution while following GDPR regulations
- Utilise Hootsuite to build social content, posts and setting up paid campaigns.
- Assisting in the creation of the brand marketing plan and post campaign analysis
- Contributing to the planning and implementation of integrated marketing campaigns from initial concept through to completion
- Event management, including product placements and new model launches both offsite and, in our dealerships
- Acting as brand ambassador for Lookers Plc and a source of knowledge for Lookers colleagues on marketing best practices and ensuring our dealerships remain true to our corporate identity
- Supporting the Brand Marketing Manager and the wider marketing team in presenting regular reports to sales teams, senior management, and manufacturers

- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong relationships at all levels
- The ability to work well under pressure, managing competing projects simultaneously
- Adaptability and commitment to working outside of usual business hours and on weekends on occasion as travel throughout the UK is required.
- Key skills include:

- Ability to build effective professional relationships
- Multi-channel marketing with creative brand communications and campaigns
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage digital campaigns and drive performance
- Effective communication skills, including written reports & presentations
- Planned, organised, adaptable and responsive
- Knowledge of Google Analytics preferred
