As a Team Leader you will be responsible for leading the day to day tasks of the Sales department using first-hand knowledge and experience, including developing, coaching and motivating the team to ensure they are delivering excellent customer service and meeting departmental targets. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to develop their skills in a people manager role. **Key Responsibilities** - Support the team with any queries in their role and effectively manage the day to day running of the department including monitoring breaks and after call work - Monitor daily performance through the MI system and manage workload effectively with the available resource - Manage performance and behaviours through regular 121"s and support the improvement of performance for both your team and the overall department - Effectively coach, develop and support the team - Communicate any changes to the business or processes - Work with the People Team to address any employee relations issues - Conduct administrative tasks such as updating the team rota, People HR, return to work conversations and formal meetings - Create training material and lead training sessions where necessary - Issue reporting to helpdesk on any website or system issues - Support your team by taking customer escalations to help resolve any customer issues. - Liaise with Team Leaders and Contact Centre managers across departments - Plan and run incentives to motivate the team and drive performance - Support the Sales Contact Centre manager with any required tasks **Knowledge and Experience** - Supervisory experience that can demonstrate the ability to coach and lead a team. - Experience of working within the travel industry. - Ability to lead, coach and develop a team and encourage a positive culture while embracing healthy group dynamics. **Skills** - Ability to lead, inspire and support the Sales team. - Strong communication, organisation and interpersonal skills. - A passion to motivate the team and drive performance. - Results focused and committed to the values surrounding outstanding service delivery through effective people management. - Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information. **Additional Information** - This is a full time role (37.5 hours per week) and working hours will vary depending on department need. - You will work a flexible week ranging between Monday to Sunday with varied shift patterns between the hours of 08:00 and 21:00 (Weekdays) and 09:00 - 20:00 (Weekends). - Salary will be based on relevant experience. **Benefits** - Generous discount on holidays - 25 days holiday plus your birthday off - Flexible working hours - Company sick pay scheme - Simplyhealth Optimise Health Plan and eye care contribution - Employee Assistance Programme and free access to counselling - Share Incentive Plan - Death in Service cover - Enhanced maternity, paternity, shared parental and adoption pay - Travel to work scheme - interest free tram and train loans and cycle to work scheme - Onsite subsidised coffee shop - barista-style coffee and snacks - Food and drink discounts across a number of venues in Manchester City Centre - Gym discount - The Sandbox - free bar every Friday PM - Charity contribution - we match any funds raised by an employer for charity, doubling the total funds raised **Remote Working** Currently we are all working remotely, however in the near future we will operate a hybrid working model where we will all work from home and our Aeroworks HQ in Manchester, just a 10 minute walk from Piccadilly station. **Equal Opportunities** As an equal opportunities employer, we value diversity and welcome applicants from all sections of the community regardless of gender, ethnicity, disability, and sexual orientation.
