An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our innovative People and Culture team as the Associate Director of HR & OD.

You will be driving the strategic direction and implementation of the Organisational Development, Culture and Leadership agenda across the Trust.

This transformational role will support in making ECT the best place to work through transforming the leadership and management culture.

Responsible to the Deputy Director of People and Culture and as a member of the People & Culture directorate senior management team, the post holder will have managerial responsibility for the following areas:

- Human Resources team (including employee relations)
- Workforce Transformation (Organisational Development and Leadership team )
- Health and Wellbeing and Employee Engagement Services
- Equality, Diversity and Inclusion
- Lead and manage the HR & OD team in the development and delivery of aligned programmes, including the provision of team and individual solutions across the organisation.
- Develop and deliver elements of the ECT People Plan, in line with the Trust and national priorities.
- Lead the development and delivery of an annually agreed organisational development plan to support future working partnerships and transformation programmes.
- Provide specialist expertise to senior colleagues and Executive Directors with regards to the development of organisational culture, leadership development, performance management, coaching, induction, talent management and all aspects of organisational change and development.
- Interpret national and regional policy guidance, employment advice and best practice initiatives and embed into trust processes and policies as appropriate.
- Lead matters relating to staff side negotiations, communications and development and to encourage effective partnership working. This includes the provision of regular briefing sessions, joint development sessions and ongoing engagement. The post holder will also represent the trust at the North West Social and Partnership Forum.
- Ensure close collaboration with HR SMT and operational senior managers to ensure an integrated and systematic approach to transformational change.
