**Job Summary**
We have a fantastic opportunity for an aspiring apprentice to join our team. We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who are ambitious and want to gain playworker qualification while getting experience. You'll create meaningful relationships with the children, your team and with parents.

**Responsibilities**
- **Understanding children**: Understanding children's needs, behaviors, likes, and wants
- **Creating play environments**: Creating stimulating environments where children can explore and play freely
- **Supporting children's development**: Supporting children's physical and emotional well-being, and their emerging capabilities and competences
- **Managing interactions**: Managing interactions with parents, caregivers, and professionals
- **Ensuring safety**: Ensuring children are safe and secure, and upholding safety standards
- **Adapting activities**: Adapting play activities for children with additional needs
- **Reflecting**: Reflecting on how your adult presence impacts children's play, and how to improve the quality of play provision

**Requirements**:

- You must be a UK resident or have a visa that will support you for the duration of your apprenticeship
- GCSEs in English and maths at Grade C (4) or above or able to achieve Level 2 English and maths whilst on programme

**Your training plan**
- The programme offers a blended approach including virtual classrooms, webinars, work-based tasks and online assignments
- We use an online platform (BUD) that helps you learn the topics and skills, reflect on your practice and build your portfolio
- These OTJH will be within working hours of Employment
- e.g., 30+ hours per week = 6 hours per week OTJH, less than 30 hours is 20% OTJH
- You will also receive one-to-one support and tuition from your apprenticeship tutor, this tutor will make in person visits to you at the nursery, or schedule online meetings every 5-6 weeks
